Joe has been serving with Josiah Venture in Latvia full-time since 2007. His main role on the team is leading "SELA", the youth leader training program in Latvia. It focuses on training young leaders on how to lead a disciple-making ministry in the footsteps of Jesus. We accomplish this through periodic trainings for youth leaders and their teams and by providing Bible study and training materials for youth leaders in Latvian and Russian. Joe & Anna are also heavily involved in their local church as Joe leads the junior high ministry and Anna helps with the children's ministry in Matthew's Church. Through these avenues Joe hopes to see disciples made and reproduced in Latvia like they were in the early church.
