WORSHIP
Our worship services at Shiloh are essential to the life of our church. We carefully craft the elements that are incorporated into each service in order to communicate a biblical message that is not only to be heard with our ears, but expressed with our hearts and applied to our lives.
Here at Shiloh we believe that Sunday services are a continuation of our worship to God, and not the sole outlet for worship. We strive to change our attitudes from "coming to church to worship" to "coming to church worshiping". As a body we desire to live lives that are an act of worship to God.
Musically, we worship through a variety of sounds and styles both traditional and contemporary. With a full band, you will hear songs that are full of the truths of God's Word, and that are commonly heard on Christian radio today. Through these sounds and the heart of those who lead, it is our prayer that people are given the opportunity to connect with God in a genuine way, and express their love for Him.
We foster a worship environment that incorporates freedom of form and expression along with love and respect for others with whom we worship. It is not uncommon for people to clap, raise their hands in worship, or to kneel in humility before God, but all is done in the context of love for and sensitivity towards one another.
