Merge

(grades 5th - 8th)

Merge is designed to help students discover who Jesus is, who they are, and how they fit into God's story. Students engage in weekly worship, bible studies, and prayer in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Our Merge director, Brett Gray, creates his bible studies based on what Pastor Jason is teaching the main service every week. Above all it is the primary objective of Merge to see kids grow see the glory of Christ and follow him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

What this means for the ministry:

  • We merge with God through a relationship with Jesus
  • We merge with each other to be the body of Christ

"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." - John 15: 5

merge Wednesday Nights

Wednesday nights are a time when we can cover more topical themes from scripture that need to address the culture or specific struggles the students might be having.  This is a time when we can use our gymnasium to plan more active games for the kids and reach more students who might not be in a family that regularly attends churches. Merge is also meant to deepen friendships and build community amongst students of this age group.

Merge is held every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:30pm, but please see the Shiloh Calendar for exact dates.
