5th-8th Grade

Merge  is designed to help students discover who Jesus is, who they are, and how they fit into God’s story. Students engage in weekly worship, interactive lessons, and prayer in a safe, fun, and welcoming environment. Our Merge director, Ethan Burson, designs his lessons based on what Pastor Jason is teaching in the main service every week. Above all, it is the primary objective of Merge to see students of this age group follow the two greatest commandments: love God, and love other people.

merge /merj/ verb

1. Combine or cause to combine to form a single entity.

Synonyms: join together, join forces, unite, team up, link up, unify, integrate, knit, yoke

2. Blend or cause to blend gradually into something else so as to become indistinguishable from it.

Synonyms: mingle, blend, fuse, mix, intermix, intermingle, commingale

What this means for the ministry:

  • We merge with God through a relationship with Jesus

"But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him." - 1 Cor. 6:17

  • We merge with each other to be the body of Christ

"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another." - Romans 12:4-5

Children's ministry is offered during all of our worship services. Click here for a list of our service times. All children's ministry classrooms are located in the Children's Center (Building 1) on the south end of our campus.

                                                merge Wednesday Nights

Our Wednesday night meetings are a time to help take students deeper in their walk and faith in Jesus. The evenings are themed with a lesson and games to provide active illustrations of the Gospel. Merge is also meant to deepen friendships and build community amongst students of this age group. Merge is held every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:00pm, but please see the Shiloh Calendar for exact dates.
