Care & Support

Shiloh's Care Ministry provides biblically based, coordinated care to those with personal needs. We accomplish this through biblical education, pastoral counsel, Christ-centered mentoring relationships, and study/recovery groups.

                                 Celebrate Recovery

Tuesdays, 6:45 - 8:30pm (in the Student Center; South Building 1).

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery group that applies the Biblical principles found in the Beatitudes. By working the Christ-centered steps and applying the biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. Gambling, anxiety, eating disorders, drug & alcohol addiction, anger, pornography, sexual addiction, divorce, codependency and more can all effectively be overcome by this program. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others as we progress through the principles and steps we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ!

A wide variety of topics are addressed in The Landing including but not limited to: family dysfunction, divorce, suicide, school pressure, self-esteem, family addiction, anxiety, pornography, drug and alcohol use and dependency, friendships, self - harm, anger, fear of rejection, perfectionism, eating disorders, sex, depression, abuse, and broken or unhealthy relationships. Leaders and participants are committed to respecting confidentiality. It is a relaxed environment where students can be themselves without fear of judgement.

There is no cost or registration necessary... you can just show up on Tuesday. Students only; parents are invited to attend CR for adults while their teens are in The Landing.

Please contact/text Dina Lundblom (602-376-1124) with ANY questions you may have regarding The Landing. We are are currently looking for additional leaders... let Dina Lundblom know if you are interested.

Christian Counseling

Shiloh provides resources to help people overcome issues hindering them from experiencing peace and joy in life. We maintain a list of professional counselors and therapists for issues requiring a high level of expertise on a specific area or long term care. For more information, please contact the church office.

Mending the Soul

Shiloh often refers people to Mending the Soul (MTS) ministries, an organization dedicated to supporting men and women as they seek to recover from the effects of abuse, whether sexual, physical, verbal, spiritual, or neglect. Mending the Soul reaches the mind, the heart and soul of the wounded and provides a safe place to receive support and encouragement through others who have suffered similar painful experiences in their lives. Our MTS coordinator can direct you to the closest class for you in the Phoenix area. If you are interested, please visit the Mending the Soul website
