Early Childhood Ministry (Birth - 4th Grade)


At Adventure Kids we are dedicated to showing kids how to love God and love people as we empower them to show His love to the world. We believe that building relationships, using creative Bible teaching, and hands-on learning is key. 


Visiting us for the first time? Look for the Kids check-in located in the lobby of our Children's Center (building on the south side of our campus). We would love to meet you and have your child a part of our ministry. A member of our team will help you find your child's classroom and help you check them in. 


Our classrooms are divided as follows, with occasional changes due to volume and staffing:

  • Nursery (Birth to Steady Walker)
  • Toddlers (1 - 2 Yrs)
  • Pre-School (3 - 4 Yrs)
  • 5 Years to 1st Grade
  • 2nd to 4th Grade

Children's ministry is offered during all of our worship services. Click here for a list of our service times. All children's ministry classrooms are located in the Children's Center (Building 1) on the south end of our campus. 


Adventure Kids Leaders are a team of volunteers whose main role is to ensure a loving and safe environment where children feel loved and welcomed. They also teach bible lessons that may include an object lesson or game as well as facilitate a craft or activity that goes with the lesson. Each leader has gone through a screening process/background check as well as training in the age group that they are they are working with. We are grateful for the amazing team that God has brought together to teach our young ones about Him!

    We are excited to be hosting our summer Vacation Bible School this month. If you have already registered your kiddo(s) you may pick up their shirt(s) and group assignments on June 7-8, 10-11.

    Interact and build community with other parents as you watch your children play and grow socially and emotionally in a gym filled with fun experiences at every corner! More info is available on the registration form below.

  • Wacky Wednesday

    Select Wednesdays • 10:00-11:30am

    (in the Children's Center)

    Wacky Wednesday is a drop-off activity time for ages entering Kindergarten - 6th grade. It is open to our community and is very helpful for those who are taking little ones to the 10:00am Tot Town session. We offer a different theme each time with a variety of activities to choose from! This is a great time for kids to connect with other kids and use up some of their energy in the cooler indoors!

  • Summer Kids Club

    Select Tuesdays & Thursdays • 1:00-4:00pm

    We are excited to offer Summer Kids Club again for ages entering Kindergarten - 6th grade! This supervised program is a place where kids can connect through a choice of team games, open gym free time, board games, crafts, and other activities in the cooler indoors!

Ministry Childcare

Children's ministry is available for children while their parents are involved in any of the various weekday ministries. Ages and availability varies based on the ministry and the ministry's schedule. See individual ministries or contact the front office for more information.

Policies + Procedures

Security procedures:

Guests will be helped through a quick process of checking their children into their Sunday school class. For your first visit, parents will be given a numbered guardian claim card at their child's classroom  which will match the number on their child's name tag.  Parents will then be given a short registration card which will give us information that we will add to our private database. This card can be turned in at the end of our church service to a teacher or hall coordinator. Information will be entered that week and parents will be able to check kids in on the iPad the following week.

Most Mondays

9:00am - 12:00pm in the Children's Center

(Building 1, south building)


Who:  Children 15 months (steady walker) - Pre-K

What: We offer a clean, safe, and structured play-based environment for little ones to grow emotionally, socially, and physically while having fun! We have very experienced teachers who will be supervising and guiding children through their morning. We will serve a snack of Gold Fish crackers and water. You are welcome to send a peanut-free snack and cup with your child's name on it.

Why: To give parents a break in their morning to do what they need to do. 

How: Space is limited, so making a reservation is required. Each child needs a medical release on file with us as well. If you are new, please download this form and bring the completed copy with you. You can download the Shiloh Medical Release form here.


Cost: $16 for 1 child per day, $27 for 2 children per day, $5 for each additional child per day.
