There are many ways to get involved and serve at Shiloh Community Church. Here are some of our areas of need:
We need people who can help us carry out our Rocky Railway decoration plan for VBS! We will need help stapling paper on the walls to create a mountain/river, laying train track with tape, setting up an old miners campsite, and creating a train station in the church foyer. We will have the supplies, we just need the people to help put it together. The more helping hands the more fun we have! We also need help picking up a few props and supplies that are gifted to us by Desert View Bible church at Central and Carefree highway on June 11 at 12:15pm. If you are interested in helping, please complete this Sign-Up Form.
The worship team is always looking for people with a desire to serve the Lord and a passion for excellence to join the team. We are specifically in need of bass players, piano players, guitar players, drummers, vocalists as well as people to join our Media Ministry to run cameras, lights, slides, sound, etc. We will train you regardless of your current skill level. Don't wait any longer to join the team and begin serving the Lord with the gifts he has blessed you with today. For more information please contact Pastor Joshua.
There are many needs and areas to serve in our AdventureKids ministry - from Sunday teachers & assistants to childcare during the week - there is almost always a place to serve. We also have ways of serving kids without being in the classroom such as cleaning toys and rooms. We hope you will consider being a blessing to our children here at Shiloh! For more information please contact Chrissy Redding or call the church office.
Tot Town is a playgroup open to the community. We turn our Community Center gym into a giant playground for children (birth – preschool). Children come and play with others while their parents get a chance to connect with other parents. There are so many toys and activities to set up and many hands make light work. If you are interested in helping with set up, tear down, or helping with check-in please contact Chrissy Redding.
Come be a part of our Merge Ministry and serve with our 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders!
If you are interested in volunteering and being a part of Merge Ministry, please download and read our policy and procedure forms and then download the application and reference forms. You may mail the forms or email them to Director of Merge Ministry Brett Gray.
High School Leadership
Student ministries is passionate about training up new leaders from our high school students. There are several opportunities for our students to take on leadership and responsibility among their peers, and we also need adults to help lead weekly Community Groups. For more information please contact Pastor Kevin Redding.
We have several trips planned throughout the year. These trips are a great opportunity to show God's love to the world! For more information about missions at Shiloh, please contact Pastor Joshua or visit the Missions & Outreach page.
Our Welcome Team would love to have you use your personality and join us as we create a welcoming environment for each person who walks through our doors. You can serve weekly, twice a month, or when your schedule allows. Join us in serving in this way, and echo the Psalmist who declared, “For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalm 84:9-11). Contact Michelle Carlson to get involved.
Know and Be Known
The best way to get to know others is to serve them, and serve alongside them. Our Courtyard Fellowship Area on Sundays provides you with an excellent opportunity to serve alongside others while you provide the atmosphere for each person who attends our services to connect with others. This service area helps arrange and serve snacks and beverages for all of our services. We especially need people to help on Sunday mornings…before the 9am service and between services. Contact Pastor Kevin for more information or to volunteer to help in this important area.
