Shiloh's Care Ministry provides biblically based, coordinated care to those with personal needs. We accomplish this through biblical education, pastoral counsel, Christ-centered mentoring relationships, and study/recovery groups.
Tuesdays, 6:45 - 8:30pm (in the Student Center; South Building 1).
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery group that applies the Biblical principles found in the Beatitudes. By working the Christ-centered steps and applying the biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. Gambling, anxiety, eating disorders, drug & alcohol addiction, anger, pornography, sexual addiction, divorce, codependency and more can all effectively be overcome by this program. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others as we progress through the principles and steps we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ!

We are very excited because starting on Tuesday, March 6th, there will be a new ministry starting up for students, grades 9-12 called The Landing, which will meet upstairs in the Community Center. This is a high school ministry using the same biblical principles as the Celebrate Recovery for adults. It's not meant as a replacement for youth group but more as as an extra resource. The Landing is a safe, confidential group for high schoolers who deal with touch issues such as a troubled family, self-esteem, friendships, peer pressure, self-harm, abuse, depression and anxiety.
As a ministry to our local community, Shiloh offers bags of family-size non-perishable foods upon request. These bags contain staples such as breakfast cereal, pasta, mac 'n cheese, tuna, peanut butter, soups, beans, canned veggies and instant rice and potatoes. If you or someone you know would like a food bag, please visit the church office. The Food Pantry is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30am to 4:00pm.
Shiloh provides resources to help people overcome issues hindering them from experiencing peace and joy in life. We maintain a list of professional counselors and therapists for issues requiring a high level of expertise on a specific area or long term care. For more information, please contact the church office.
If you feel alone and overwhelmed with the burden of financial difficulties, Shiloh has budget coaches who can help. These coaches have been trained by Crown Financial Ministries and can help with any of the following:
- Meeting monthly financial commitments
- Poor spending habits
- Creating and/or living within a spending plan
- Saving money
- Understanding your financial behavior
Whatever your personal financial issues, a trained budget coach helps you to understand your unique circumstances and create a plan customized to meet your specific needs. Rather than complicate the process, your coach simplifies it and allows you to reach true financial freedom. The 5 sessions of coaching are FREE and the materials cost only $15.
Contact Lyle Schilling at (602) 923-0204 to get matched with a Shiloh budget coach.
We would also recommend enrolling in the next Essential Growth Class for Managing our Finances God's Way. More information is available here.
Shiloh often refers people to Mending the Soul (MTS) ministries, an organization dedicated to supporting men and women as they seek to recover from the effects of abuse, whether sexual, physical, verbal, spiritual, or neglect. Mending the Soul reaches the mind, the heart and soul of the wounded and provides a safe place to receive support and encouragement through others who have suffered similar painful experiences in their lives. Our MTS coordinator can direct you to the closest class for you in the Phoenix area. If you are interested, please visit the Mending the Soul website.
