BAPTISM                                               

Baptism is an important and exciting part of a believer's life!  As a follower of Christ, baptism gives a true picture of Christ's sacrifice for us, and makes a public declaration of our faith in Him.  

We believe that baptism is:

  1. An outward expression of an inward change.  It’s an obedient, symbolic association with Christ’s death and resurrection, which has saved all those who believe in Him. (Romans 6:1-4)
  2. An act of obedience commanded by Jesus Christ and His disciples. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:38)
  3. Symbolic of a believer's cleansing from sin. (I Peter 3:21)
  4. A personal identification with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection (Colossians 2:11-12)
