Making disciples who love God, love His church, and show His love to the world!
Men's Ministry
For men to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, it is helpful to have guys in our lives that provide both encouragement and challenge along life's journey. Shiloh's Men's Ministry disciples men to love God, love His church and show His love to the world. We strive to help each man fulfill this purpose through social events, Bible studies, and accountability relationships.
Connecting & Social Events
Quarterly Breakfast - Each quarter, the Men's Ministry enjoys a time of fellowship, sharing, and ministry . . . not to mention great food. Each gathering includes a speaker who challenges us to better understand and apply God's Word to our daily lives. Join us upstairs in the Community Center and introduce your friends and neighbors to our ministry and our church. The suggested donation for this breakfast is $5.00. Our next breakfast will be held September 11 at 8:00 AM.
Quarterly Kayaking - Each quarter, families head to a local lake and enjoy God's creation and one another while kayaking. Men from the church provide all the equipment, and create an environment that makes it easy to meet and connect with each other. Plan on joining the next fun-filled adventure coming soon at Rattle Snake Cove at Bartlett Lake.
Annual Golf Tournament - Our annual Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, August 28 at Orange Tree Golf Course (56th Street, north of Shea Boulevard) with a shotgun start at 7:00 a.m. Lunch is included along with a raffle and auction to be held at the conclusion of the tournament. The cost for this year's tournament is $75. Hole sponsorships are also available. This tournament is open to both men and women and helps support our Men's and Student Ministries at Shiloh. Bible Studies
Thursday Night Bible Study - Our Thursday Night Men's Bible Study is a tremendous opportunity for men of all ages and backgrounds to join together for encouragement, and to be challenged in our roles as leaders, husbands, fathers and men of God. The study begins at 6:45 p.m. upstairs in the Community Center. Our current study is "Doctrines - What Every Christian Should Believe" by Mark Driscoll. This 12-week book-based study is designed to equip each of us grow in our understanding of the key doctrines found within the Bible. Each person will be challenged to interact with various beliefs and see how those beliefs effect your daily living. This study will help you understand God and His Word more and could radically transform your life. We invite you to join us in this journey.
